Robert “Bob” Earley believed in Cameron, Missouri.

Bob & Donna Earley

A native of Primghar, Iowa and an Army veteran, Bob and his wife Donna moved to Cameron in 1961. A few years later, Bob and Donna purchased a tractor dealership and founded Earley Family Farm. Cameron was their home, and would be where they would build a legacy for generations to come.

Over the years, Bob and Donna would go on to raise 6 children in Cameron. Bob placed distinct emphasis on community involvement, with involvement in the Knights of Columbus, American Legion, Cameron Jaycees, Cameron School Board, and the 1st Cameron State Bank board of directors. He was also well-respected in the equipment dealership and agriculture communities, as a previous board member and past president of the Western Equipment Dealers Association and a supporter of Camera’s Ag FFA program.

First and foremost for Bob Earley and his family were the pillars of Faith, Family, and Farming.

As the family grew, including grandchildren and then great grandchild, Bob’s passion for Cameron and its community continued to grow. Knowing he wanted to leave behind a legacy that would bring new life to Cameron, Bob, Donna, and their family began to think about what they had to offer. Farmland with a prime location along the interstate could become something more; the idea of Earley Business Park was born.

Bob left this life on Monday, August 2rd, 2020. The Earley family, however, never lost sight of his goals. They’d continue the important work of bringing new businesses to Cameron, MO through their Earley Business Park initiative. With the first business now open on the plot of land (a new, state-of-the-art Love’s Travel Stop featuring an Arby’s), the dream of building new, lasting opportunities for Cameron is underway.
